US Visa for Thai Citizen - Do they have an Undisclosed Quota.
Based on what I've heard, a lot of Thai people in the past have traveled to other countries, particularly the USA, and simply disappeared. Working in the underground economy. There's too much temptation to make $15 an hour when a day's wage in Thailand can be $10 a day. Even at age 55, they could disappear and make bank on working and sending money home. My wife was able to come to the USA on a fiance visa, that can be pretty easy if you cross your i's and dot your t's and the interview goes well. My wife was a government accountant, but not sure if that had any bearing on the matter, perhaps it helped a little. But that's a whole different situation. It appears it has nothing to do with the applicant, but the government cautious. I knew of someone many years ago who came to the USA to study and they disappeared. The found a Thai partner with a green card and somehow she will just stay illegally in the USA forever? -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
thanks for the tip / recommendation. i haven't driven the byd m6 ... we already have two cars, one of which is a fairly spacious, smaller family car ... that's why the m6 is not an option for us. i'm also looking for an electric car that offers a bit of driving fun ... maybe a visit to the motor expo would help a difficult car buyer (like myself) to come closer to a decision ... to buy or to wait a little bit longer -

Marrying a Thai Wife: Overrated or Underrated?
My wife is traditional Thai, someone that takes care of her man, but is not in servitude (if you know what I mean). She clean the house 3 times a day, washing everyday, lays out my clothes for wearing in the day and better clothes when we go out, cuts my nails, does the garden, cooks thai food I enjoy when I want it, tells me when its hair cut time, great mother, great wife, well educated (ex-teacher), does her wifely duties (hehehe). Great wife and best partner I have ever had - i actually married her 10 years ago after being together 20 days. Problem for a thai wife that is 'unique' is it probably applies to marrying someone with a great body 30-40 years younger than you. And that is the problem, they are too much upkeep, expensive. A 'dolly' will not take care of you. Man across the road from me is 75, his boo 29 - you really think his unique GF sees a future with him ?
