I want to stay with friends this time and need to present a invitation with my visa application. From what I gather, I need a copy of my friend's Thai ID and blue housebook.

Would a non-formal letter saying something like this be sufficient? I guess my friends will write in Thai.

Dear Mister Guest,

I invite you to stay at my home located at blah, blah in my blah blah city during your upcoming visit from December 1 to December 31.

Cu Soon

Amazing what you can find when you're digging for anything.  I'm checking the European embassies because I have found out that they are offering things that they don't in Canada.  This isn't a pdf so you can alter it as desired.

Get your friend to send you a copy of the house registration in Thai (of course) and add that to the invitation when you upload.
