I am wanting to travel from BKK to Phuket next month and wanted to clarify the rules (OA Visa, been in Thailand since July 2). I am double vaxed (Moderna in the US). I want to fly and stay in Phuket. Do I need a COVID test also? If so, do I need a test before both flights (there and then back)? Thanks for the input.

I went on Nov 19th. Bangkok Airways asked to see either vaccination certificate, or test result, when boarding at the gate. It was pretty clear it was one OR the other, not both (and I presented only the test). Upon arriving in Phuket, nothing was needed, just went straight to luggage and taxi.

 

For flying to Bangkok there are no requirements whatsoever.
