Popular Post Sheryl
Within Pattaya itself: Bang Lamung Hospital Pattaya City Jospital (but dual pricing = can be as expensive as some Provate Hospitals) In Chonburi town: Chonburi Regional Hospital - large tertiary level facility. Has specialists. No dual pricing. For anything at all major or specialized this and not the 2 hospitals above is best Anothet option many favor is the Queen Sirikit Naval Hospital in Sattahip. Small size, has some specialists but not every day. Best capacities are at Chonburi. Even cardiac surgery there.

You are aware that most medical clinics are single person beauty centric or questionable in Thailand, but probably OK for a cold or minor cut - most people go directly to hospital for direct treatment by specialists where testing and many doctors are available.

I too am confused A government hospital is called in Thai "hospital government". A government hospital can also be called a public hospital, same meaning. Some posters appatently took public hospital to mean open to the general public, as opposed to restricted to certain groups.
