Aviation association demands interest-free loans for private airlines

The Vietnam Aviation Business Association has called on the government and National Assembly to provide interest-free loans of VND4-6 trillion ($176-263 million) to private airlines.

It also wanted commercial loans of VND25-30 trillion to be given to them, with the government subsidizing 4-5 percent of the interest.

Vietnam has two private airlines, Vietjet and Bamboo Airways.
