First of all: THANK YOU for the many usefull tips in this forum which were a great help for me.

Sorry for my English, my first language is Swiss German ....

 

I have a retirement visa which i got in Thailand. It will expire June 26, 2022.

My passport will expire October 1, 2023 .

 

Do i need a new passport for the visa extension in June 2022 ?

Your extension will start from June 26/2022 and will expire June 26/2023.

Your passport is fine given it expires October 2023.

 

Having said that why not get a new passport. 

Obviously not sure the life of your countries pp. In Oz they are 10 years. Why wait till the last year to renew.
