When to apply for Thailand Pass? Right after second jab or only after 14 days?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

This question might have been asked here before but I couldn't find anything through the search option.

I've been living and working in Thailand for a number of years and I am currently in Europe for an extended family visit + getting my two Pfizer shots. I will receive my second jab on 15th December and am considered to be fully vaccinated 14 days later on the 29th December.

My question is, when can I apply for my return through the Thailand Pass system? I need to upload the vaccination QR codes, however, can I do this basically right after my second jab on the 15th or do I need to wait until I am considered fully vaccinated on the 29th? My current return flight is scheduled for the 13th January. I guess I could wait until the 29th but I feel more comfortable getting this all sorted out as soon as possible.

Any feedback on this is appreciated!

It is 14 days before your date of departure.

It should be 14 days after your second shot. You can try to apply for Thailand pass 14 days before your departure date to coincide with the required days after the second shot

I applied and received by ThailandPass before my 14 days after last dose were up. But of course the flight date was after that date.
