Sanook reporters went to the holiday island of Koh Samui in the south of Thailand after a man called Jongrak Meedet put land for sale ads online with him up to his neck in water.

The plots he was selling were prone to flooding.

He got a big response.

The media found Jongrak, 45, who said he had been a land agent on Samui for 20 years and also was well known for selling suckling pig at "Na Muang Moo Han".

He said there were two reasons for his advertising stunt.

Firstly he wanted the ad to be noticeable and memorable.

Secondly he wanted to be up front about the land he was selling so he had pictures of it when it floods as well as when it was dry.

Many people had been contacting him about buying the plots, he said.

That's why it's so important to check the land of interest both in dry season and rainy season before you buy it -and low tide and high tide in certain areas - which might be why that when you show interest, then the seller always has other interested buyer ready to sign, so hurry up if you want it...:whistling:

Water-park venture?

Smart move! Well done.

If Jongrak had titties - the add would even be more effective.
