The Pattaya City Police Chief Colonel Kunlachart Kunlachai told The Pattaya News, “The seven days of danger for this New Year’s festival will be from December 28th to January 3rd.” “Pattaya City Police, Pattaya Tourist Police, Banglamung district officers, and volunteers will patrol around the Pattaya area.” “Multiple checkpoints will be set on the main roads. They have been singularly missing on the roads for at least two years. I used to see them doing traffic duty on Rot Fai junctions like Kao Noi/Talo during rush hour. Then this singular proof of their existence disappeared.
