Oh, for heavens how can a place named top Honeymoon destination when no honeymooners have come for  year !   May just as well say Thailand is the top country in the world for inter-planetary

  • … especially enticing for masochistic teetotaller lovers who don’t like to be around other tourists and just LOVE filling in lots of paperwork while locked away in a hotel.

  • Thailand got the award because the Thai dining and drink venues know to automatically give an extra 6 straws so the rest of the group can share the beverage.  ????

Yes, 'best honeymoon destination'! Was woken up this very Christmas morning by maid (hasn't worn a mask for months now, while all foreign tennants do), mumbling on the corridor: "Covid falang..." - Just the place where one would want to spend a honeymoon!

What's next? 'Best Gay Couple Holiday' in Afghanistan or Iran, or, perhaps, 'Best Beach Holiday' in Nepal or Greenland?

Why not Maldives...Too expensive for Indians maybe ????

And why you think it's not Maldives as well? India is country of 1.4 billion, even if 20% of population is able to travel , that makes total addressable market of around 300 million.

In Kakinada old ladies took a s.... on the streeets.Peeing also in the middle of the street.U could smell them in a long way.

Did much train travel there?  Look out the window in any populated area and you'll near always see people relieving themselves.  Especially early in the morning.  It's as if the railway is a nationwide waste system.  As soon as the human walks away from his deposit it is devoured by crows, dogs, rodents, and whatever else.  The circle of life.

On the other hand there are people who follow nearly any domesticated animal and collect the droppings to use (or sell) as fuel, shaping the dung into patties with their bare hands.
