i have has two moderna shots 8 months ago.  considering getting boosted..............upside is im hearing that getting boosted raises antibodie levels like 37 times.   a huge number............. and i wonder if i wait too much longer ,  that the benefit from the first two shots inteacting with the third shot ............will be less if i wait too long.  

Sure if you can get them, not as if they sell them at 7/11 you know and specially now that everyone is on their hind legs looking for boosters, so luck there...

In Australia they said after 6 months of getting two shots now they have dropped it to 5, then 4, and now  3 months from January. 

Check you Antibody Titer. Under 50 BAU (Binding Antibody Unit) you need to have a booster for sure:). I have one Moderna shot available . If someone needs, message me private.

so its easy to get your antibody level checked?  simple blood test, ? i will investigate.................moderna booster is half dose of regular dose

Got the Moderna booster after receiving the second Sinovac shot, 4 months ago.

Just today two Thai friends told me they’ve just had boosters, others have already had theirs. I’m registered but not yet at 3 months.

That being said, quite understandably there's been a mad rush to get boosters since a few weeks due to Omicron, so availability may vary depending on your location etc.

The omicron variant is, according to medical authorities (not politicians) relatively harmless, fatalities and ICU treatments hardly present. The booster shot doesn't help against it. So why all this worry? Leave it up to the politicians to gain maximum profit from this latest paranoiac episode and delay getting any more shots as long as possible.

There more worried about maxed out hospitals,no staff for jobs, completely worn out medical staff.

Had the booster yesterday at the Stadium in Pattaya walk in had 2 Astra so asked for Astra again no problem in and out in 40 min

The booster shot does protect against it and is recomended  for all those that have had 2 regular shots which are not as affective against it. It's mild in those that have been vacccinated but still serious for unvaxxed

yes, I was in Khon Kaen last month and pretty well every Thai that I talk to about covid vax have had their 3rd boosters, and I was talking with hotel and restaurant staff not politicians.

They were only offering boosters to people that have had:

 

Sinovac, Sinopharm, or Astra Zeneca.

 

Good for them as Sinovac is proving practically useless in tests even with a booster.

Yesterday got our Moderna bosters , just called Vibharam Hospital just down street from use, the day before and may a appointment for 11 AM got there early 10 AM. Had copy of earler shots at Bangkok Hospital, but they were fully booked until new batch of Moderna comes in May or June, same for  Srinakarin. Paid 3,300 baht and left.

Seems Pattaya is ahead of the curve when realizing that EVERYONE needs a booster.

Just read an article where they are offering Pfeizer and Moderna boosters regardless of previous shots.

 

I don't care what anyone says, Pattaya is a great city!

As they use exactly the same vaccine they used for the first 2 doors as a booster how can the booster be effective when the original is not?

In February they'll probably drop it to 2 months, in April to 1 month, by June it will be weekly and before the end of 2022 it will be served with your morning coffee....

Mine will be 3 months and 7 days.  I've mentioned this to them and emailed my vaccination card.

No problem, just show up with your passport, vaccine card,and appointment.

 

Hows the parking?

I'll be staying at the Hilton Millennium.

Or would Grab be better, 11:00 am appointment.

The question as your body got a good immune system. I was sick for one day after my second shot (body ached from head to toe) does that mean my body will fight against covid19, I am not expert, just asking

Time to get boosted.And wait for the next letter, then boost again.
