Covid visa-free extension question

Featured Replies

Hi, I got in Thailand in mid November on a visa free 30 day, I extended my stay at the immigration office till mid January.  I know I can get another 30 days extension by asking for it, my question is about the whole covid 60 days extension... would it be better to ask for 60 days next time I go to the immigration office or should I stick to the 30 days ?

Maybe I got this all wrong, just looking for info, thanks.

You can only apply for one 30 day extension per entry.

You can apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension. Near the end of your current 30 day extension.

You can only obtain 60 day covid extension. Make sure you obtain that before expiry of your current extension.

Since your permit ends mid January, I suggest you obtain it early Jan.

Which immigration office will you deal with?
