Sending food back to the kitchen?
Can't really get bothered eating out often anymore as the quality, quantity, services and prices not match. If I do eat out it is usually one of the better places as well, 2-4 times a month. -

Should A Woman Be Allowed to hold the office of President of the USA?
Not trying to be smart but do you think your experience with women - seemingly some bad eggs - has left you a bit jaded such that you have made incorrect conclusions about women's intelligence and natural place in society.- 1

Trump Goes Full Racist
Maybe you should look closer to home for stupid submissions. The Cato Institute did a massive study of what percentage of illegal immigrants committed crimes in Texas vs legal immigrants and vs native born Americans. They chose Texas because, unlike most other states, it keeps records that record immigration status. Also, it's got a big population and, by virtue of its geography, lots of illegal immigrants. Here's what they found: Thus, there were 1,797 criminal convictions of natives for every 100,000 natives, 899 criminal convictions of illegal immigrants for every 100,000 illegal immigrants, and 611 criminal convictions of legal immigrants for every 100,000 legal immigrants (Figure 1). As a percentage of their respective populations, there were 50 percent fewer criminal convictions of illegal immigrants than of native-born Americans in Texas in 2015. The criminal conviction rate for legal immigrants was about 66 percent below the native-born rate. https://www.cato.org/publications/immigration-research-policy-brief/criminal-immigrants-texas-illegal-immigrant#convictions -

Sending food back to the kitchen?
I never complain about bad food in a Thai restaurant. I leave it, pay, walk out and never go back. OTOH, I have a memory bank for restaurants who do the right thing. Below is chicken in black pepper sauce at Timothy's, a Thai restaurant that does Western dishes. Salad and chips. IIRC 179 baht.- 1

Has my sex tourist friend found a loop hole?
Your are very right in your very houmourous post. In soapys and "massage" parlours, they rarely change the sheets after each client. People often overlook the harsh and awful skin diseases and other issues one can catch purely by contact with contaminated sheets or towels. But I agree, that many here sadly are in a state of mind where deep inside themselves, they just don't care for life really any more. It's sad... -

How to I get rid of this new left hand sidebar?
That is not a solution. Neither are the suggestions to reduce screen size or use developer mode. I can't believe people would even suggest it. 🤦♂️ The most 'practical' solution I have read so far is blocking the HTML code in uBlock, and it's far from practical. -

Cervical Cancer Treatment Options
To give you an update on how this went. They took the biopsy, came back ten days later HSV1. Thank whoever for that. But the seems the doc who made the initial call mustve really felt the need to get her in for a check so decided to scare her since she had a previous abnormality she didn't follow up on. -

Coming to Thailand
Far to much power given at the sole discretion of the immigration officer in his glass cage at the airport. Those people are free do refuse entry even for people with a valid visa on any absurd excuse. This amongst other absurd immigration hassles or forms, need urgent reform and change if Thailand wants to get back somewhat of it's past popularity with foreigners (and our money). -

Should A Woman Be Allowed to hold the office of President of the USA?
I have had any number of women doctors with no complaint. One of them, a wonderful Chinese infectious disease specialist saved my life. Not kidding at all. Many female pilots have also saved my life by not letting me fly the plane. Thank you ladies. -

Harris mingled with Tehran regime operative who promotes terrorism
The thing about that report cited by the NY Post is that it's headed by Lorenzo G. Vidino He has a history of making unfounded accusations. In one case he actually incited a police raid on one scholar he accused of being in league with terrorists. Ultimately, the case fell apart, but not before Hafez had to leave Austria for the US Lawsuit Links Wild UAE-Financed Smear Campaign to George Washington University "Little did Hafez know at the time, but the rumors about him and others in Austria originated from a research center at George Washington University and a prominent U.S.-based terrorism analyst there named Lorenzo Vidino, according to a lawsuit filed late last month. Hafez’s suit alleges fraud and racketeering, asking for $10 million in damages from Vidino, along with George Washington University and its Program on Extremism, the research center that Vidino heads. The lawsuit, according to a press release, alleges that Hafez and others were targets of an organized smear campaign, accusing Vidino of “participating in a criminal enterprise that deployed fake journalists, social media bots and pay-to-play reporters to destroy the careers of dozens of individuals by constructing and disseminating false narratives linking them to the Muslim Brotherhood.” (Vidino and George Washington University haven’t filed a response to the lawsuit, and neither replied to requests for comment." https://theintercept.com/2024/04/20/farid-hafez-muslim-lorenzo-vidino-gwu-uae/ Vidino has also been tied to a smear campaign funded by the UAE. An investigative article appeared in The New Yorker in March 2023 about Vidino's connections to the private intelligence agency Alp Services, which had previously been contracted by the United Arab Emirates. According to the article, he was invited to Geneva in January 2018 for a "thousand-dollar dinner" in order to recruit him as a consultant for the agency. Two weeks later, Vidino signed a contract worth 3,000 euros with Mario Brero in exchange for information about the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorenzo_G._Vidino Abu Dhabi Secrets Abu Dhabi Secrets is an international investigation series revealing the United Arab Emirates’ influence strategy in Europe, particularly in France,[1][2] by financing a "smear campaign" to target opponents of the UAE, that is, Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood.[3] The investigation is based on confidential documents obtained through a hack into a Swiss-based economic intelligence company, Alp Services by Mario Brero which executed the smear campaign. The documents were obtained by Mediapart and analyzed by with the European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) media network.[4][5] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Dhabi_Secrets
