Is it possible to buy nice quality grass on the island? Some people say its hard to find others that it is widely available?

Does anyone have any experience?

There's a garden supply shop on the corner of Moon and Sun street up the road from the rabbit shop they sell good quality grass.

If you want a reasonable quantity, I think it is cheaper to take a truck to Surat Thani. There's a garden centre on the ring road (from the ferry follow signs to Surat Thani, then the signs to Phumpin) just down from the Tesco Lotus, sells Ya Yippon, 'Japanese grass' which is nice turf.

The garden center in Ban Tai village (just before the 7-11) will order it in for you. OK quality, not great but not bad.

Are we talking the footy pitch or smoking variety here?.......if the latter,find a motorbkie taxi or beach seller......should be nice quality!
