Thai citizen moving back to live in Thailand. Anything that needs to be cleared?

Absolutely right! My wife entered Thailand on a expired Thai passport last May.

The Thai Embassy in the US , due to covid was  several months behind renewing passports, so she got an "emergency travel document issued by the Thai embassy, and she traveled with that ,she renewed her passport after she got back in Thailand.
