Visa exempt query

I went to Chiayaphuum immigration last Friday to do a TM 30 for fiancees address.

They asked me do you want an extension?, Original exit date was January 7. Now I have an exit date of April 8th.

Have they given me a COVID extension?

Apparently they did a 60 day covid 19 extension since they would be the only 60 day extension you would qualify for.

Your permit was to Feb 7.

They gave you a covid extension. 

 

Your starting date is February 7, 2022 so that means that 60 days later would be April 8, 2022

Ok, that will be of help as I need as much time as possible to get paper work to change to non O based on marriage.

I have to say the people in immigration were so pleasant and helpful .

Do you have Thai bank account.

Obviously that is essential step to obtaining Non O marriage.

Yes did it using Siam legal, and an address of a friend in Bangkok.

Hardest part was finding the Bangkok Bank address that they directed me to use
