Dmaxdan
Interestingly, I have just looked at the reviews for the Bangkok bank app on the Google play store starting from today other people have highlighted the same problem that I'm having. Good to know I'm not alone at least.
mtls2005
What version are you running? It looks like a new ver. dropped on Friday. 3.14.0 This new version does take a bit long(er) to load, a bit strange I think. That must've broken something and is causing these issues. What program are you running which "scans" and presents this message? See this message on the Play Store, so something is broken. Bangkok Bank PCLJanuary 23, 2022 We apologize for any inconvenience caused. The Bank acknowledges and is conducting an investigation for our service improvement. The new version seems to run on my phones, Android 11 and Android 12. Paid a bill, seems OK for me. WHAT'S NEW New features • Suspend debit card • Request for debit card: add Be1st Smart TPN Rabbit Siriraj • Adjust the daily limit for international funds transfer • Send an e-Card with your transfer as a gift for occasions such as for Chinese New Year, weddings, birthdays • dStatement service: a convenient and secure service to request and send bank statements between banks Edited January 23, 2022 by mtls2005

Such vulnerabilities in iOS, while they do exist, they cost and knowledge needed to exploit them is way bigger. A script kiddie even could hack your Android if you are fool enough to open something he fooled you into opening. Unlike iOS Android has no measures to stop an app you've allowed to run from stealing your data (like iOS has the sandbox or entitlements). You gotta know your stuff, buddy.

The OP has a genuine question and no need to judge his reason why uses an Android Phone or that another brand is better!! While I agree with what you've written. Nowadays iPhones not always are more expensive than their Android counterparts. So for someone who is not tech-savvy enough, using an iPhone may be more hassle free, and the cost will be similar to that Huawei he is using. That was all I meant, as an advise, maybe next time choose an iPhone.

And I don't have a long enough extension cord for my PC. But you might not know that as you only use your phone for phone calls.

Just did a scan with the built in security scan and nothing found (Samsung phone, Android 8.x). Popular Post ianguygil
Ok. I will note something here while the official communications are coming out. This was a false positive. The AV vendor has acknowledged that and is making a fix. We rebuilt our App and resubmitted it just in case. But the actual root cause was the AV. It is always better to get a False Positive than a False Negative. ANDROID is open source, so it is the complete opposite of the Walled Garden approach of APPLE and iOS. So please don't be concerned, we are not giving you malware. But I congratulate all of you in sharing and notifying just in case. Thank you again for all your business and your interest in Bangkok Bank
