Isan Farang Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 I just started to receive my government pension from the UK. When i went to BB last week i asked for the Credit Advice to observe what was sent in GBP, the staff told me they do not receive the funds direct as Citibank BKK are the ones who transfer the funds to my BB account, so it is Citi who do the conversion and then transfer in Baht to BB. I have no account with Citi so i assume its not possible to view what was sent from the UK
bunnydrops Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 https://www.citibank.co.th/THGCB/COA/frx/prefxratinq/flow.action exchange rate. I don't know about fees
theoldgit Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 The DWP have a contract with Citibank in the US to pay State Pensions to all recipients living overseas. Citibank use their own conversion rate, and charge no fees to recipients. If there is a public holiday in the US during the week the pension is due to be paid, there might be a delay in payment.
