webfact
Daily News Thai caption: Rat poison A family in the north east of Thailand reacted quickly after they suspected that a one year old boy had ingested rat poison. Little note was rushed to Sateuk Hospital in Buriram by Ron Thong rescue services. Doctors were trying to assess how much poison he had consumed and the extent of the damage. A relative of the boy said that he had been playing alone. Then he was seen to have blue color all around and inside his mouth. Another relative remembered that the boy's grandmother had put down some rat poison in the house, reported Daily News. The boy is thought to have picked up the poison pellets and with the innocence of a child put the colorful blue substance in his mouth. It is thought he ingested the poison 5-10 minutes before it was realised what he had done. The OP says that she "had put down some rat poison", how can that be "put up out of reach", you think that their rats are crossed with giraffes?
