Police arrested a “restaurant” manager last night (February 7th) in Pattaya for allegedly breaking Covid-19 rules and violating the current closing time, according to statements given to TPN media.

The Pattaya City Police reports they have arrested a man named only as Mr. Krit, 40, who is a manager of ‘Siri Cafe and Food’ in the Nongprue sub-district. It was not clear what the exact hour of the raid was with Pattaya police only saying it was after the legal closing time.

He is facing charges of selling alcohol without a permit and opening his venue past the current legal closing time of 11:00 P.M.

Idiot... when it so simple to get the required permit.

Couple of hundred baht notes and he's good to go.  The police will want a lot more.
