Police were called after a fisherman in Chainat in central Thailand got his net snagged on something under the water.

 

It was a Nissan Sunny.

 

Note, 19, told 77kaoded that it wasn't there the previous day, he knew because he fished in the Chainat to Pasak klong every day. 

 

Police and diving rescue teams managed to haul out the car though one diver was injured in the process.

The car had no plates though the tax disc was on it indicating that it had the number กท (kor thor) 7314, Chonburi.

 

There was damage in the front center of the vehicle, the windshield had been smashed by a heavy object and all the side windows were opened. 

 

The front fender was detached and inside the car.

Police believe the car was used in a crime.

 

Investigations by the Muang Chainat police continue.

Front end damage, bonnet damage, windshield damage.. maybe it was in an accident with something/one who then decided to get rid of the car and not be found?

My first thought was that it is a Chinese made Song sub-motor.
