Thailandpass wants proof of income

Featured Replies

I have been told by 2 people who recently (January and February) entered Thailand that they had to upload proof of income when they applied for Thailandpass. Otherwise one could not proceed fillng out the application.

Both did have a 60-day tourist visa, from Germany and Austria.

I plan to enter with a reentry permit,  retirement extension,  800000 Baht in Thai bank,  no income. Will this be possible?

There is no income proof required for a Thailand Pass.

Probably a mix up with the tourist visa applications and Thailand Pass.

How about COVID insurance ? How long should it be for non-o 800,000 ?

Thirty days is enough to get a Thailand Pass to enter the country.

Requiring proof of income sounds like this guy who thought he was filling out a Thailand Pass but actually filled out and received a Thai e-visa instead ????

In my defense, I would have done both anyway.  Still feel glad I tried to load that Q code and discovered my errror early on.
