Anutin “under immense pressure” to join various factors as political situation intensifies

Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is under “immense pressure” from both opposition and coalition partners as the political situation in Thailand continues to intensify following high profile defections from the ruling coalition and an impending no-confidence motion.

 

Thailand’s ruling party Palang Pracharat has suffered several high profile setbacks in recent weeks after a by-election loss in Bangkok followed by the high profile expulsion of 21 MPs.

 

Embattled Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha said he has no plans to step down or call early polls but both main opposition parties have questioned the government’s ability to pass laws and govern with what effectively is a hung parliament.

Anutin is perhaps the key power broker in Thailand’s political scene 

 

Not a good sign for the Thai populace, hoping for better things after the illegal coup and the subsequent years !

The best place for clowns is in a circus, as Thailand seems not to have any circuses, he could do us all a favour and just emigrate to a country which does have a one.

Worked with a guy who 'returned' from Zimbabwe. Every month he was allowed to transfer back to UK 1% of the interest ?% his money (that he had to leave there) made.

It was possible at the early stage but his handling of the covid-19 pandemic has badly damaged his image to be prime minister. He is blamed for the mismanagement which triggered lockdowns and affected and ruined many people and businesses. The public called for his resignation. The Mor Mai Thong of doctors launched a petition for his resignation which received a quarter of million signatures. The polls for suitable prime minister don't even registered any percentage for him and low percentage for his party. He is a liability to his party. I álso dont see his party doing well next election and may see them with tail behind their legs to re-join the PTP coalition.
