Theerapong, 35, was named in an arrest warrant for attempted murder and having a knife in public issued in Nakhon Sri Thammarat in August 2017.

He was picked up at a rented house in Takua Thung, Phang Nga also in the south.

Theerapong had been in a relationship with his wife until 2011 when he was jailed leading to their separation.
