Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

This is just one tiny example of the kind of warcrimes that the fascist/nazi Russian army is committing. Olga Sukhenko, the mayor of Motyzhyn, a small town of 10,000 people just west of Kyiv, was kidnapped by the Russian army, together with her husband and son, brutally tortured and then executed. The three bodies (together with a fourth body, as of yet still unidentified) were found in a shallow grave behind a house.

Many more horrors like these will still come to light, and the Russians will continue to deny they had anything to with it. Screw them, hope they all get a terrible disease and die a slow and painful death. And I’m not saying I condone it, but to some extent I can certainly understand why Ukrainian soldiers execute Russian soldiers they took prisoner. If someone started indiscriminately murdering my countrymen, especially people I know or even family, I don’t know what I would do if I got my hands on some of those people doing the murdering.

This is akin to shooting oneself in the foot and then complaining that it hurts.

"Russia gave the most sombre assessment so far of its invasion of Ukraine, describing the "tragedy" of mounting troop losses and the economic hit from sanctions, as Ukrainians were evacuated from eastern cities before an anticipated major offensive.

Moscow's six-week long incursion has seen more than 4 million people flee abroad, killed or injured thousands, turned cities into rubble and led to sweeping sanctions on Russian leaders and companies.

In a symbolic move, the United Nations General Assembly suspended Russia from the U.N. Human Rights Council, expressing "grave concern at the ongoing human rights and humanitarian crisis." Russia then quit the council."

Russia has suffered "significant losses of troops", President Vladimir Putin's spokesman has said.

But asked again if Russia has lost thousands of troops, he said: "Yes, we have significant losses of troops and it's a huge tragedy for us."

and going to be hugerer and hugerest then hugerester the more time the war criminal's accomplices remain invading Ukraine.

Full interview from Sky News. The commentator also holds Russia to account for most of it's recent past bad actions. Worthwhile watching full interview.

"Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov denies Russia has carried out war crimes in Ukraine but admits there's been 'significant' Russian losses."

actually the missile defense issue I mentioned earlier is very relevant for this conflict, as is the defunct INF treaty:

that's the weapon which is ideal for Ukraine.

it would allow Ukraine to hit Russian ships and military installations.

There was also a conversation where a commander yells at a soldier, calls him names and then tells him to “kill them all”. There is more and more evidence that killing and executing civilians was an order that came from somewhere high up, that it was not just soldiers going on a rampage.

I agree and a lot of this seems to be derived from the rhetoric on Russian TV media about hangings and eliminating Ukraine. Orders from the top are certainly something not to be ruled out:

Similar to the question if we are at the stage of Genocide now, some experts sqy we are others say its on the cusp and more evidence is needed first.

Eugene Finkel, an associate professor of international affairs at Johns Hopkins University, believes genocide is underway in Ukraine. He says there is evidence of killings, carried out in Bucha and other places, of people based on their Ukrainian identity.

"It's not just killing people, it's targeting a national identity group," he says.

However, it's the rhetoric coming from Moscow that tips over into genocidal intent, Mr Finkel says.

We can be sure ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ is central to the Russian plan to carve off sections of Ukraine.

There is no possibility of Russia maintaining control over any part of Ukraine if ethnic Ukrainians remain in those areas in any significant numbers.

Putin will therefore seek to remove ethnic Ukrainians from areas he wishes to control, he can do this be three methods; physically transporting  ethnic Ukrainians out of these areas, terrorizing Ukrainians to flee from these areas or, as voices in Russian media are calling for, a ‘final solution’.

Be assured, ethnic cleansing is part of Putin’s plan.

The US MRC ground based missile system is still in development and won't be available until 2023.

The Ukrainians already have their own Neptune missile system which recently is reported to have sank a Russian ship in the Black Sea.

the Neptune missile system was developed during INF treaty and has a range of 300 Km, which is ineffective.

land-based Tomahawk missiles would be ideal.

Why would journalists even talk to Russian officials anymore?  We all know they're just going to lie and lie their as* off.

There are three prominent Dmitrys in the Russian government: Peskov, Medvedev and Rogozin. All three of them are clowns. Would not take seriously anything these puppets say.
To be honest, all the other, so called Russian politicians, are not any better. They all serve their Master and none has a personal opinion on anything.

to be honest, it's impossible for the public to know a professional politician's personal opinion on anything

these sick Russians play the game that they don't know about what the separatists are doing.

so they swear the Russian forces didn't do it.

in fact, technically, the "Russian" forces don't have the Tochka-U missile in their arsenal.

in reality, the separatists have received the Russian missiles and launched that attack on Kramatorsk.

the launch was even documented on video.

but LPR, DPR, are all in the same boat with war criminal Putin and his accomplices.

the separatists also downed MH17 using a Russian air defense system. Russia: "oops, hey, it wasn't us !!!"

they just shoot on anything like the barbarians they are.

one of the missiles apparently was inscribed with "for our children"

In the Volga? If you look at these videos carefully - most of them are filmed outside Russia, most often in the USA, Europe or Maldives. Putin's elite, with all the anti-western rhetorics of their boss, is not living in Russia. They send their children to study in the West, they buy houses and mansions in the West, they prefer to get medical services in the West, many of them have Western passports etc. It is hard to understand how deeply hypocritical  Putin's elite and system is. And there is no way it will not fail soon, one way or another.

the most disgusting is that Putin's 4 children with his girlfriend Alina Kabajewa are Swiss citizens.
