While it's good that Russians are voting with their feet, one can't but help wonder whether it would have been better for them to stay behind and actively protest at home.  The cynic in me would also ask why, despite the war going on for around 8 months now, they didn't do anything about it beforehand?  Only when their lives were directly affected did they bother taking any action, however self preserving it may be.  My tongue in cheek comment earlier, about arming the over 100,000 mainly young men fleeing to Kazakhstan, and sending them back to fight Putin, is quite a serious one on further reflection.  With all those headed to Georgia, Finland and other neighbouring countries, that would make a sizable resistance force.  Especially with the Russian army desperate to send more bodies to Ukraine. (They may as well send bodies, as that is what they will be converted to shortly after arrival).

Totally agree but you have to realize a lot of older people were not

getting the right information,they were fed bs but went along with it as long as it was not affecting them.All these people fleeing will also have a major impact on the economy.They leave behind women and children who also need to eat.All we have to wait for is a few countries that are still heavy under the influence of Russia to decide that now is the time to break free.

And now is the time!

China could take back what used to belong to them,totally opposite

side of the country.

One could ask any of those that fled to Canada during Vietnam war why they didn't do that. I reckon the same answer would apply to the Russians leaving to avoid the draft.

The World's so called second most powerful defence force (obviously propaganda), yet his incompetence is evident in everything Putin does.

 

If even Margarita Simonya is critical now, how could the Russian public ever trust Putin for the security of their nation in a real war against the West let alone let alone prosecute a "special operation" against a minor power like Ukraine.

 

Like the West, the critical thinking Russian public must be worried about what Putin has gotten them into, especially his threats of a nuclear winter.

 

Obviously, time for a spring uprising or Maidan in Orcland.

Of course, they denied it saying it was a seismic fault but the fingers are being pointed at Russia trying to destable the west by forcing Germany to come to the table and demand help to avoid them having no gas running up to Winter. Is it a coincidence that Germany is the biggest customer for Russian Gas. So Putin is trying to drive a wedge to the countries that are supporting Ukrains war.

did the Russians ever agreed they committed any bad acts.... they never killed anybody in Syria, they never invaded Ukraine, they never shot down a commercial airliner, never ever can the west blame Russians doing anything bad, that's sad but unfortunately the truth, Russians lie so much they can no longer differentiate between truth and lies, thus their lies become their truth
