Warning to Parents: Skewer Accident Highlights Safety Tip
Reminds me of a very British incident many years ago at Uni...my mate was using one of those metal BBQ skewers to put a hole in a conker. Finding this time consuming and difficult, in frustration he cupped the conker in his hand, turned it upside down and then forcefully pushed down the conker onto the skewer. We were both startled when the skewer rapidly penetrated the conker, his palm and fully appeared out of the back of his hand. No lasting damage done. 😄 -

Construction Standards Questioned After Vibhavadi Road Footpath Collapse
Quite agree. If they cannot be trusted with footpath, how can they be trusted nuclear furnace? In Thailand, constructions workers are basically Not Trained(except for heavy machines operators) . They are usually migrant workers who has never been taught how to do their jobs correctly. They just see and copy what others(in the industry longer) do. They don’t even know how to mix cement properly. That is why it looks so crude(1st world ones' are as smooth as cream).
