Perhaps the Russian people will now realize that the Russia created and portrayed by Putin over the past 20 years was just an illusion and that Russia is now a third world country and military power.

 

He has overseen the massive corruption in Russian military and society to enrich himself and the oligarchs at the expense of the impoverished population, where dirt roads and washboards for handwashing clothing are still norm.

Can’t find the link, but apparently the BBC has a phone call from a Russian soldier to someone back home. He said the new conscripts were nothing more than cannon fodder, being sent to the front straight away, without any training, and even without decent weapons. He said there were dead bodies of Russian soldiers everywhere. 
I feel sorry for those poor guys, but not sorry that Russia seems to be losing more and more ground.

Someone posted Earlier that Ukraine was running out of Equipment, well thanks to the inept Russian military Ukraine is using Russian Armour and Tanks seized or repaired that were left by Putin's thugs. They are gaining more armor than the west is giving them. Except for Air defense systems.

Prediction - Next announcement by Putin after stating there's no need for further massive missile strikes will be another "goodwill gesture."

 

A temporary cease fire with an offering to withdraw his forces from Kherson which he illegally annexed (even though we all know he's already losing ground there and evacuating civilians), in the worlds eye this is giving Ukraine a concession. It gives Putin an opportunity to give the world a simple message that this is to save civilian lives, slightly at odds with his recent shelling of cities but since when did he care about his own hypocrisy. 

 

Meanwhile this cease fire period gives Putin the time he needs to replenish his stock of ammo/missiles and for the training he needs of the mobilized conscripts.

 

"a new full-scale offensive" could begin around February-March 2023.

 

Possible? Who knows but apparently that's the blueprint being reported:

Yurii Kerpatenko, principal conductor at the Kherson Music and Drama Theatre, has been killed by Russian occupiers in Kherson. His death was announced on 14 October, said the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.

The ministry said Yurii Kerpatenko had been shot dead by the Russian military in his own home after he refused to cooperate with the invaders.

The Washington Post reported, citing unnamed U.S. and allied security officials, that Iran is preparing the first shipment of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar missiles for Russia.

Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar are Iranian short-range ballistic missiles capable of striking targets at distances of 300 and 700 kilometers, respectively.

However the Ukranian army is already retaken land that Putin illegally
