Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

far from the end result, on the contrary.

For Ukraine and for the whole rest of the world we would call "free", the LOSING strategy would be to accept Ruzzia's invasion and its presence in occupied territories.

And taking things even further, we also know that the current Ruzzia can't be negotiated with, because it lies and breaks treaties.

"Hey we don't lie this time and we swear we will keep our word in future too".

Logic, reason and sanity all advise the same course of action.

In addition Russia just doesn't seem to learn from history.

Bombing Kyiv Into Submission? History Says It Won’t Work.

It typically aims to achieve this by forcing those leaders to ask whether the capital’s cultural landmarks and economic functioning are worth putting on the line — and also, especially, by terrorizing the country’s population into moderating their support for the war.

But for as long as leaders have pursued this tactic, they have watched it repeatedly fail.

More than that, such strikes tend to backfire, deepening the political and public resolve for war that they are meant to erode — even galvanizing the attacked country into stepping up its war aims.

This isn't physics or chemistry. The result of Ukraine's attack on Russian ships isn't preordained. If it turns out that the end result is no more shipments of grain from Ukraine, the fault is Russia's.

You’re right. It’s not physics or chemistry; just common sense.

Common sense already here.

Ukraine war: Two cargo ships leave ports despite Moscow's grain exports deal pullout

Earlier, the United Nations, Turkey and Ukraine were said to have decided to continue implementing the grain deal after movement was halted on Sunday, with a transit plan in place for 16 ships on Monday now active.

I guess the statement by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warning that continuing grain exports without Russian participation was "hardly feasible" are not stopping it going ahead.

Correct. Russia guaranteed the safe humanitarian corridor for the grain shipments. This is no longer in play should military action be taken in the Black Sea.

The attacks were 220 kilometers away from the grain corridor

Quite the dilemma for Russia, A grain convoy has left Odesa in defiance of a RU blockade. Proceeding south, the convoy posses a dilemma for Putin: does he attack merchant ships in international waters, or does he back down and permit UKR to resume grain shipments?

Hunger games being played by Russia, using food as a weapon but then with the world watching them daily carrying our mass war crimes in Ukraine cities then we can expect nothing else.

I didn’t read anywhere that Russia is blockading grain shipments.

That's not what anyone claimed and the question did not even touch on that but then unless I ditto my post there's nothing else to add

End result, more bombing in Kyiv, leaving more parts without power or electricity. Not a winning strategy for Ukraine but maybe for another country.

Hint if Russian Missiles and Iranian drones were not hitting Kyiv's infrastructure the Electricity would be on and water would be filling sinks who's fault is it they're both off.

Correct. If Ukraine didn’t bomb the Kerch Bridge and Sevastopol, then like you said, Russian missiles and drones would not be hitting the power plants.

Kerch Bridge got bombed, Ukraine got the sh*t bombed out of them. Didn’t they realise that bombing the ships that escorted the grain ships would also have consequences? Either stupidity or intent to escalate.

oooohh.... Consequences 555

They are forced to defend themselves. Consequences are for Russia to worry about..

It's not Rocket Science Gweiloman Putin's invasion of Ukraine is the cause of all the problems now from Fuel prices to kids starving in Africa because their grain was exported is now being cut back due to the grain thief stealing thousands of tons that could be in fully laden cargo ships to African ports and disrupting shipments.

Incorrect. Fuel prices soaring is due to sanctions imposed on Russian oil and gas and the bombing of NS2 which effectively ended the possibility of re-supply of Russian gas to Europe.

Kids starving in Africa is partly due to majority of grain being shipped to Europe instead of Africa, I believe.

I don’t know why Russia wants to steal Ukraine’s grain as it has much more grain than Ukraine but unable to ship it out, I believe.

If I was Zelensky I would place long-range missiles I had just thrown the Russians out close to the Russian border, and I would start raining missiles down on Russian towns and Russian Citys in retaliation for what Putin is doing in Ukraine.

absolutely correct ....  what gives Russia any right to invade another country to murder and destroy it's infrastructure.   Land a few long range one's in Moscow.

nonsense .... how was Russia threatened by NATO.  NATO would not attack Russia for no reason.  Russia invaded Ukraine with the idea of taking more land and annexing all of Ukraine,  simple as that.

You could be right.

You singing from Putin's song sheet again blaming NATO. There are many videos of Russian Wagons driving through Ukraine with stolen Grain and wheat from Sattelite imagery showing Russian Cargo ships transporting grain from Ukraine. Theft probably transported all the fridges and washers Russin troops stole from houses they looted in Ukraine in there ships to.

Because they invaded another country against all the norms of present day (not historical) civilization!

Correct DezLez I tried to explain the difference in a conflict between two different nations in a war. A war in my opinion is 1 nation fighting another nation until 1 is defeated with Arms. Russia is not fighting a conventional war there using civilians to defeat Ukraine for what purpose?
