NONTHABURI, Feb 25 (TNA) – The newly amended Copyright Act will take effect on Aug 23 and expand copyright protection to online material to support the digital content industry of the country, according to the Department of Intellectual Property.

Rescue teams, including divers from the Royal Thai Navy, marine police, the Marine Department and the Public Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department joined the Ruamkatanyu Foundation  today (Friday) in the search for missing TV star Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong, who fell into the Chao Phraya River from a speed boat late Thursday night.

An LED billboard, featuring exiled Thai scholar Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pavin Chachavalpongpun, from the Centre for Southeast Asian Students at Kyoto University, who is a well-known monarchy critic, as the new brand ambassador for “Ophtus” glasses has been abruptly removed from the Siam Square One shopping mall in Bangkok by Chulalongkorn University today (Friday).
