BANGKOK, March 2 (TNA) – Police are confident they will conclude interrogation related to the death of actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong within their 60-day deadline and her mother’s forgiveness would have no impacts on the case.

Pol Gen Suwat Jangyodsuk, commissioner of the Royal Thai Police Office, had his second meeting on the case with interrogators concerned at the office at 11am.

On the occasion, Pol Lt Gen Jiraphat Phumjit, commissioner of the Provincial Police Region 1, said the law initially gave police 60 days to finish their interrogation and he was confident that interrogators could meet the deadline without having to seek any extension.

The RTP found out the identity of the hit men in Phuket and issued Interpol notice in less than 30 days. The sad death of the actress shouldn't need 60 days?

Thai netizens seem to all think there was foul play involved. One of the men having a torn shirt, text messages the victims mother got hold of, and suspicious first hand accounts. I am not saying all this is 100% conclusive, but when the police release an extended timeline, it's almost like they are saying that the potentially guilty party has that number of days to clear everything up, if you know what I mean.

You mean the identity of the two Canadians who were all over CCTV?   Neither the boat accident nor those involved was recorded anywhere.  That aside, what does it matter? The police have indicated that they won't need 60 days.
