I'm afraid that it is Makro who are out of lockstep. Lotus's produce an excellent whole wheat sliced loaf which toasts to perfection. (in my aging Phillips) I think Makro's multigrain loaves are really made for sandwiches, not toasting. Lovely bread though. I shall try Lotus's, thanks.

I prefer Makro white bread which is thicker if bought from Sukhumvit vs North Pattaya road, fits in the toaster perfectly, Continental white bread doesn't for half the loaf so I'm now cutting in half which is fine. whole bread is over rated, eat it for years but got sick of it
spidermike007
Spend the money on an Electrolux, Sharp, or Phillips. Cuisinart makes some good ones too, but if you can find one, they are quite expensive.

Denim
My 269 baht toaster arrived. So far so good. Toasts evenly and big enough to get crumpets in.

I’d hate to see the markup here. https://www.kitchenaid.com/countertop-appliances/toasters/two-slice/p.pro-line-series-2-slice-automatic-toaster.kmt2203ca.html
