Popular Post Geoffggi
Don't know how this thing works but obviously some kind of "Health & Safety" review is needed to reduce the possibility of this happening again.

timendres
Farm machinery is super dangerous. When I was a kid, one friend lost half his arm to a combine, and another friend was sucked into a silo auger and died. I fell off a trailer baling hay, and was nearly crushed. Another time I was nearly tossed under a brush hog when the tractor unexpectedly tipped climbing over a hidden stump. I do hope the company is generous with the compensation.

Those are just AN's choice of words, not the original reporter's. Neither did the report state that "the factory was talking about compensation" as the OP says; what was actually reported was that "the factory was initially ready to help with funeral matters".

digger70
One Can't get Sucked into a cane harvester ,There's No suction on the cane Harvester They only way that one can get killed is that one is in front of the Cutter blades and augers . No one with a brain is going to get in front and get Gobbled up in that. Why was he there ? No one suppose to be there in front of the harvester didn't the operator see him?
it is what it is
Worker sucked into sugar cane harvesting machine in NE Thailand no, he wasn't, because it's impossible because the machine doesn't use suction to harvest the cane.
