Fasting now

Featured Replies

That is something i would never be able to do fasting.

Maybe if I don't exercise but i doubt it.

Whatever works for you works.

Do you normally only go on diets / fasts when you need to lose weight or do you make permanent changes to your diet ?

Do you exercise in some way ?  (not during the fast of course)

43 hours wow, but that is just me.

But seems this is your second fast ?  (given the date)

Do you regularly fast ?

I do 2 or 3 24-hour fasts per week. Just water and coffee. The first 3 or 4 times you do it, you feel hungry and you’ll maybe have a slight headache. After that, it’s smooth sailing.

A scintillating post if there ever was one.

EXACTLY!

Why dry fasting?

A new fad diet making the rounds on wellness influencer Instagram won't actually help you lose weight. And it could cause dehydration, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, organ failure—even death.

In other words, if you're abstaining from food, your body needs more water, not less.

Experts agree: There is no dietary or nutritional reason to go on a "dry fast."
