Returning on my Non-Imm Visa Extension

Featured Replies

I have a Non-Imm visa extension stamped RETIREMENT.

I shall be returning to Thailand early May 2022 from Australia.

I have a few of questions to ask you knowlegable people.

1. I think I need $20000 US travel insurance, but my Non-Imm doesn't expire till 22 May 2022, so do I need insurance up to that date?

2. I am 76 years old so where is the best place to get this insurance, or should I use an Australian travel insurance company?

3. On my phone app I have my complete vax history. Do I just take a PDF copy of that and upload to Thai Pass where required?

Thank you.

1/2. You will only need 30 days of insurance that covers covid 19. There are some companies shown here. https://tqm-app.com/static/thailandpass/index.html

This will issue insurance up to the age of 99. https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail

3. You will need to upload your vaccination certificates. If they have a QR code you will need to upload it as well.

As ubonjoe posted above. Just a relevant question, that you do not mention. You do have a re-entry permit, right?
