No she wants more it is the Western way.  Thai mom just wants what the American moms want.

What exactly does this mean? It makes no sense. Keep in mind this "mother" received 30 million baht in compensation from the boat owner. Before that and continuing until today she keeps on talking and creating more controversy. Very strange woman.

proven track record

Proven track record? This is the woman who said the fake mine detectors worked despite having never even examined one of them.

Yes, she does have a proven forensic pathology track record but well done on pointing out just one thing, out of her area of expertise, that she (and many others at the time) erred on.  How did the rest of her forensic career go, anything else you'd like to pull her up on?

She asked for Dr Khunying Porntip to conduct another autopsy. Then the doctor explained to her in her existing capacity she can only observe. Obviously what the Dr had to say to her regarding the results is not what the mother wanted to hear.

Exactly, out of her area of expertise, but that didn't stop her from saying they worked, an action that put the lives of soldiers in danger.

Did she get it?  Or did she just get an offer?

She demanded the 30mil

So what, did she get it or did she just get an offer?    She's not in control over who gives her money regardless of whether she "demanded" it!

Who's disputing that?  I'm not, but, regardless, that misjudgement, also made by many other people (she wasn't the only one), doesn't alter her experience and reputation as a forensic pathologist.
