A friend has recently had a stroke and he was told by his doctor that his stroke could have been caused by exposure to the  particles in the annual smog.

The doctor and hospital cannot be mentioned for obvious reasons.

When I first arrived in Thailand the smog was not even acknowledged to be dangerous now  the medical profession are confirming it to patients.

A quick search on Google confirms the smog/stroke link.

I’m thinking money and laziness trumps health.  If Thailand was 5x more expensive, everyone would leave.   Moving takes time.   Stress.

we all know pollution might take 20 years off our lives or kill us today.

but we can rent a room for 4000 and get noodle soup for 30.   Worth the risk.

also leaving means you were wrong in your retirement choice.    If a tourist now, you don’t know how to use google.   April?    Worst
