Popular Post snoop1130
Vice Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, Seksakol Atthawong, officially announced his resignation from the post today (Monday), effective tomorrow, following the leak of an audio clip of him asking to borrow 15 million Baht in a conversation with another political official, which has raised questions of possible irregularities and abuse of power. The audio clip was posted on social media on April 3rd by Sittra Biabungkerd, a lawyer from the People’s Lawyer Foundation. The content of the clip is a conversation between Seksakol and an official at the Office of the Secretary-General of the Prime Minister, Jureeporn Sinthuprai, about lottery quota, during which Seksakol asks to borrow money from her to settle a debt with an unnamed person involved in the lottery quota. Popular Post law ling
Yep, he broke rule number one: don't get caught. Somehow I'm not surprised that someone charged with sorting out the lottery quota system is now alleged to be up to his neck in it himself.

mtls2005
Thank goodness he didn't own any "media shares". His nickname is "Rambo Isaan". The stench of corruption is strong with this one, that's why prayut employs him as a henchman. That so much effort goes into controlling the lottery trade here one assumes that that is corrupt from top to bottom and needs to be discarded. klauskunkel
Quote Thai PM’s ‘guardian’ Seksakol quits as vice minister amid lottery controversy Rambo could shack up with Pareena, a match for sure! I'm just imagining the looks of their offspring, Pareena's sour face with a hairline that starts at the eyebrows.

A qualified, capable Vice Minister wouldn’t ask to borrow 15 million Baht…...he would whisper forbidden names and demand a 100 million Baht donation. The clown show must go on. He has been a conservative, liberal, socialist, reformist and even royalist following the gravy train. He has joined no less than 6 different political parties and was an elected TRT MP before he kissed the ring of Prayut and got a "get out of jail" for his involvement in storming the 2009 Asean summit in Pattaya. A legal miracle as other red-shirt leaders were indicted and jailed. This will end his political career as many see him as a grifter and turncoat.

mtls2005
From Thaksin’s crooner to Prayut’s promoter – the pinball political career of Seksakol Atthawong Once a red-shirt leader dubbed “Isan Rambo”, Seksakol Atthawong has made yet another political pivot, leaving the ruling Palang Pracharath to join a new party aiming to secure Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s return to power after the next general election. Currently a vice-minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, Seksakol disclosed on Monday (Jan 7) that his new party —Ruamthai Sarngchart — would support Gen Prayut in his bid for another term regardless of whether Palang Pracharath or another party nominates him as its PM candidate. Seksakol said the party’s name, which means Uniting Thais to Build the Nation, was inspired by a phrase used often by Prayut. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/from-thaksins-crooner-to-prayuts-promoter-the-pinball-political-career-of-seksakol-atthawong/
