Pattani: Police hunt for robber who stole 400,000 baht in gold jewelry

Muang Pattani police in the far south of Thailand were called after an armed robbery of a gold shop in a department store.

 

CCTV caught the suspect milling about the shopping center before he entered the store and threatened staff with a 9 mm gun.

He stole nine necklaces with a total weight of 13 baht, worth 400,000 baht from the Yang Hap Teng and Jewelry store, reported Daily News

 

He was described as about age 25-35 and 170 cms tall. 

 

He fled on a Honda Wave motorcycle and despite police radioing ahead disappeared without a trace.
