How did  you find Madeira?

With fascinating flavors of roasted nuts, stewed fruit, caramel, and toffee.

Thailand has its perks, notably its low cost of housing, food, women and warm climate.  However, it's far from perfect in many other ways...

  • More importantly, can you leave Thailand?  Many are basically stuck here with condos, homes, wives, kids or low money cannot afford to move back to western civilization.

  • Yup that is the truth Then they post topics and say they use to live in mansions in western civilizations but it was boring 555 Truth is Hotel California is popular in Thailand for good reas

In which  case  you  have nothingn to  live for then

Which case is that?

I realize I have nothing to live for but living has become a habit.

I leave Thailand every year for 5 months. I'm a Thailand leaver if ever there was one.

Only covid kept me on record stay, and never been longer then 3-4 months max before. Need the contrasts and to vent out a bit in a bit more normal environments and also the heat, pollution, lack of common sense, and the smoke that comes with living in paradise.

Both places makes my life complete, but thank god for holiday from holiday.

I never did that. But I heard stories from friends who though they had sex with pretty women until they woke up the next morning. Like: Did I really f#$# you? Oh my god.

All the same inside. Only the wrapping changes.

sounds like they at some point made that choice - eh?

I had a GF from Main Line Philly for a short while... big house, her dad was a philatelist... seemed pretty boring, but very rich.

I was first here in '74 & loved it then, love it now, pretty much the same reason, the people and the culture fits.
