As an FYI to those looking for a substitute from Suan Lum night market....

There is now a small (relatively) market popping up along the first street next to the Saphin Taskin BTS station, about one and 1/2 streets long. It is NOT the night market, ie smaller, more local. But it seems to be picking up steam and size as it has doubled in about a month already.

Directly next to Robinsons along soi connected to Charoen Krung right next to Saphin Taskin BTS.

IE, go out BTS walk in direction of Oriental, Chinatown along Charoen Krung, after 100 meters you see it.

The farris wheel sucks. I think we paid 500-600 baht for 2 of us and we went around 3 times. Couldnt have been more then 5 mins.

so is Suan Lum market closed now?
