I did ask about the covid insurance before and was told 30 days cover would be ok,

i have another question , i will be getting visa on arrival 30 days then going down the non O retirement route whilst in country

all money is in bkk bank etc, will i have any issues boarding the plane without a visa in the uk, flying Qatar airways ???

If you have an onward flight ticket you should not have a problem.

BTW A Visa on Arival gives a stay of 15 days and costs money.

I think you are talking about something else.

yes my mistake arriving visa exempt from the uk

Yes visa exempt entry 30 days.

You won't have an issue.

The airline at departure may/will require onward flight.

Either buy cheapest throw away ticket or Google "onward flight" .

just a quick update I didnt require the onward flight ticket , i was not asked at check in , i had one just in case but it seems qatar airways do not require (or at least did not for me).

I am now going to do the visa exempt to non immigrant O what are the full requirements( as in paper work to take , i have had the cash in the BKK bank since February )  Dr jack or Ubonjoe ???

Great that you have existing bank account and funds already in place.

The 800k is required on day of application only, for non O retirement.

That visa will stamp you in for 90 days.

The 12 month extension can be applied for in last 30 days of your 90 day permit.

Before listing the other paperwork .......notice that your asking re 5 months in Thailand.

You could do 30 days visa exempt + 30 day extension + non O 90 days = 5 months.

Here is link to report of my 90 day extension last Nov.

Note that in that report I did not provide TM30.

However I had a lease.
