Arrival on visa exempt

Featured Replies

Hello, normally I travel on multi O visa based on marriage. I arrive next week and do not have time to apply for a visa however I will only be staying 21 days.

Will I have any issues at immigration for exempt stamp?

Last year a friend had issues as he entered on exemption but as he is married was told he should have the correct visa.

Online visa sites States for O visa, if you intend to stay for over 60 days which I do not.

Am I over thinking this?

Thanks.......

No problem.

Do you have onward/return flight ticket?

Do a printout.

In any event you will need outbound flight to obtain boarding pass from airline at departure to Thailand.

Yes I have a return ticket.

I got caught out as they require more information for the O visa now.

Thanks for the reply ????

You are not the only one.

Several posts asking advice re application for non O.

Since you only need 21 days then visa exempt is obvious best choice.

Select cheapest covid insurance cover for 30 days.

I'm doing short trip back home later this year.

Doubt TP will be required in couple of months, however the 650 baht throw away insurance is best option..
