Popular Post onthedarkside
NEW YORK (AP) — A federal judge on Friday dismissed Donald Trump’s lawsuit against New York Attorney General Letitia James, allowing her civil investigation into his business practices to continue. In a 43-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Brenda Sannes said she based her decision on case law that, in most cases, bars federal judges from interfering in state-level investigations. Sannes’ ruling came a day after a New York appeals court ruled that Trump must answer questions under oath in James’ probe, upholding a lower-court ruling requiring him to sit for a deposition. That's the way it has panned out in civilized countries, where gun ownership is a privilege, not a right.

Just imagine what would have happened if Trump had got a second term, he'd probably be cheering Putin on in Ukraine, and refusing any support for the Ukrainians and NATO. Popular Post LarrySR
Trump Does a Little Dance at NRA Gun Celebration Days After Uvalde Massacrehttps://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/trump-does-little-dance-nra-235427523.html Trump echoed Republican lawmakers and conservative pundits by bashing Democrats and blaming the shooting on everything but guns, and proposing a series of impractical solutions to the epidemic of mass shootings in America, before going on a tirade about how he was cheated in the 2020 election. Trumps list of solutions did not include gun reform, of course, which Trump claimed would have done nothing to stop the shooter in Uvalde — despite the shooter having bought two assault rifles just after his 18th birthday earlier this month. He then said teachers should be carrying guns, to loud applause. The United States of idiots is in big trouble. Trump is a cunning sociopath who found out appealing to the basest instincts of Americans paid off handsomely in terms of donations and votes, there is no reason for him to change what is successful. The irony is, most of the demographic he gets donations and votes from don't realize they are not his supporters, but his victims.

Popular Post SunnyinBangrak
Can't help but wonder if any other political figure, from any party, was obsessively investigated by all justice departments for six years, would come out looking squeaky clean as Trump has? To find no skeletons in the closet after such harassment by prosecutors must be so embarrassing. I'm guessing when it's Biden's turn for the same treatment he will not fare so well. 2

How many bankruptcies so far? How many lawyers have walked away from defending him? You obviously don't understand how legal defenses for very "rich" people work, employ platoons of lawyers, bury the prosecutors in dumpster loads of documents, divert campaign funds to pay the lawyers. That's why it takes so long. Perhaps you have forgotten how Trump, during his presidency, played golf on his own properties, then billed the American taxpayer for the Secret Service detailed to protect him, at the height of the pandemic. Comparisons with Nero are obvious. Trump is as crooked as a dog's hind leg, anyone with a grain of sense knows that. A guy who prides himself publicly in dudding contractors who have worked on his properties. 4

"Why this has received so little press coverage is a mystery." After crying wolf a hundred thousand times and further destroying their credibility each time, there comes a limit where even the most hateful anti Trump media outlets throws in the towel. No idea what exact crime this latest witch hunt is claiming to have found, and care even less. Trump has been the victim of harassment and false defamatory smears for years now, it is very boring. Not long ago he was looking at some horrific charges. Such as negligent homicide charges, one count for each covid victim, don't hear much of that one lately thanks to many times more dying of covid on Biden's watch. Treason for having colluded with Putin to cheat in the 2016 election. Real crimes. Now from what I see - as above in this thread - he is accused of (are you sitting down?) having gone bankrupt decades ago, had some agents sleeping at his hotel when he was playing a round of golf, some unspecified dispute with contractors working for him. You get the gist I'm sure. It's over. He is the most investigated man in history and they couldn't find anything worthy of charges. 4
