Gottfrid
Irresponsible parents again. Also, I read that the boy was only under for a minute, which of course have no supporting facts.

Popular Post law ling
1. Exact same thing happened a month back - don't these stories get national coverage? so that parents might be better educated? 2. "after being submerged for one minute." ... don't see how or why this was measured, or what point it tries to make. 3. A shocking tragedy for the parents, and a heavy guilt to have to carry. 4 RIP young chap ... so many of life's pleasures and pains you missed out on. 2

RJRS1301
I: Secure pool fencing should be mandatory, and 12 monthly inspections for safety compliance should be legislated and policed. 2. Access to "child safety " around pools: The biggest drowning threat facing families with toddlers is unexpected, unsupervised access to water: swimming pools, hot tubs and spas, bathtubs, natural bodies of water such as ponds, and standing water in homes. For example, 69% of all drownings among children age 4 and younger happen during non-swim times. https://www.healthychildren.org/English/safety-prevention/at-play/Pages/Water-Safety-And-Young-Children.aspx It aint rocket science, also CPR classes available without charge for everyone over age of 10
digger70
RIP Boy, No supervision ,No Childproof Fence . Their should be a Law (Like they have in AUS) that All pools must have a Childproof fence and a childproof Gate . It will get checked in AUS 100%

Sorry - this is Thailand. We all know what should happen and we all know what would happen should such laws be passed. Nothing. Absolutely nothing would change. Very sad for all concerned. RIP little 'un.
