Ang Thong was the scene of a major fight between warring students but everyone was soon in custody and on the way to the police station in the back of a police pick-up, reported Siam Rath

Even though they were already outside the station.

Yes, it was all a drill to show the public how well the RTP are prepared to tackle violence between warring factions of students.

That was the scenario that Muang Ang Thong chief Pol Col Natthapong Sriphenprapha came up with to show the top brass at RTP HQ and Region 1 that his men mean business.

They took off their jackets and battled in the streets pretending to be two groups.

Everything was soon peaceful and quiet and the miscreants were cuffed and taken in.

There wasn't far to go.

Read the OP again!

Every drill is succesful. When I worked in the Netherlands we had workshops and drills too to sell more to the customers and indeed everybody succeeded. But back in the office with the real customers it was much and much harder to sell anything. Of course collegaes will help eachother but in reality it is different

Shouldn't they have done the drill in front of the public then , say outside one of the schools where the " warring factions of students " study ?

or a) they couldn't find the place

    b) It was to hot

    c) they were worried the students would stand and laugh ?
