My granddaughter comes home every afternoon with a new language function and some extension of the previous lessons in the last week or so. She gets out of the car at home and instantly 'Good afternoon grandfather, are you well today what did you eat for lunch and did you make any good snacks today and .... ' Her teacher is obviously focusing on good full pronunctiation (e.g. when she says 'cat', the t sound at the end is clear and strong, nd sometimes she tells me to be more carful to say all the sounds. On the week-end we have cooking and baking. Tomorrow the eldest isscheduled to trach the w younger one how to make a birthday cake (for mummy, b'day mid next week, and all 3 have told their gather to take mummy somwhere tomorrow so she doesn't see them making her b'day cake). Depending on what we're going to cook the older 2 have to prepare a list of ingredients and thn a shopping list and I take all 3 shopping at Rimping. When these are done, they leave you be here in peace! No work, no taxes, great weather, even greater women! What more do I want? She wanted to start on Peter Pan, working on reading Anne McCaffrey's " Dragonflight" together instead. The old fairy tales have terribly stilted English.
