Sanook Thai Caption: Don't try this

Footage posted to a site that translates "So You Wanna Be Famous" showed the moments when a person on a Honda Jazz roof pretended to be swimming.

They had nothing to hold onto as motorcyclists coming up behind cheered.

The crazy antics at a roundabout in Bang Saen, Chonburi, central east Thailand, at 4 am were widely criticised by netizens.

Sanook went to the area after and spoke to Trai Khunnatham Chonburi rescue personnel Sasiporn, 22, and Panusorn, 26.

Initially the person was on the bonnet, they said, then went on the roof with nothing to hold onto as they circled the roundabout.

They said the person responsible was risking death and should think about the appropriateness of their actions.

Being irresponsible is what young folks do. It is the job of their parents, or the police to educate them. Find the vehicle, and confiscate it for a month!

Just Darwinism at work. Same as the idiot farang jogging down the centre aisle of the Sukhumvit freeway at rush hour at 8am this morning in his jogging shorts ! Sure the twit will be announced as arrested or dead tomorrow on here

I stopped going to Bang Saen when it became apparent that there was less police presence than even Pattaya.  It's a University town so students were 'at it' all night.

Sure the perp   has probably been an idiot but the video producer has violated the Digital and Society laws, right ? Two wrongs don't make a right, not in the Digital Law but true all the same mostly.
