Let us explain the pricing situation. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives out there if you know where to go. We do offer premium quality, free delivery all over Thailand and support in both English and Thai. 

 

Prices will most likely drop over time, we expect that prices will stabilize within 3-6 months once more crops are being harvested. We were all taken by surprise by this liberation, so there is currently a shortage on quality indoor grown weed. We hope that in time we will be able to lower the prices to more "international" levels of 300-400 baht per gram.

Agree with you fully. And as explained above, prices will stabilize over time. Street prices are also a little different from online prices with the convenience of delivery with Kerry Express and COD. We are of course looking at long term relationships, but we also have to look at the current production costs for quality weed and availability. There will be many dealers popping up and disappearing in the next few months, so if you are willing to chase them on Twitter, Line et al, and get a better price, that is perfectly fine. We prefer to focus on long-term reliability and service.

Here is an example of a 100g block of buds offered for 1200 baht on FB, coming from Issan.

 

I don't know what the THC content is, but only just a pinch in a tea before bed, enables my ill wife to sleep without pain. A godsend.

 

I expect the prices to come down a lot more from here as it will become grown nearly in every home. Everything eventually approaches the marginal cost of production, unless supply is restricted.

This is what we call a "brick" and yes, those are very cheap and available all over Thailand. They are not recommended for smoking, but as you say, can help with relaxation if taken as a tea, depending on the buds. They are very different from the strains that we carry, and can't be compared.

Agree with your sentiment, 'get what you pay for' ... BUT ... the now legal / tolerated vendors are taking the pis.  As all was available before and much cheaper.  If not brick & mortar, they still have low overhead.

 

There is no shortage, just shortage of new legal outlets.  With 4 - 6 month seed to harvest time, it's amazing vendors are full up with selection weeks after allowed to sell.

 

Hysteria price gouging IMHO.  I think I'll be harvesting before there is any price drop, or if they go back to highly restricted.

Agree with you too on this. International prices for premium quality is around $10-15 per gram if sold online. We are sure it will drop to those levels here too, in time. As stated above, like in any retail business, you can find cheaper on the street, Line-sellers etc. They do not carry the overheads as more professional retailers do, and also do not offer the same level as service. 

 

It all depends what you are willing to pay for it and what level of service you require. It is a free market, and at the moment it is the buyer's market. ????

Had bought some bricks but of course kind of disappointed by the taste and the rest. Having the possibility to order from your sofa to your sofa some quality buds is a miracle to me. So I just tried ordering today to see if some old souvenirs from ancient continent will surge when smelling what I will receive.

 

Regarding price, well hopefully they will go down, but if you fancy quality, price is less important. I rather have little but good than a lot that you never really enjoy.

 

Guess it's like beers, some only drink Archa, some only imported beers. For me they all taste same, so I dont care what I drink. But I respect beer connaisseurs that will spend more for their drinking pleasure.

That can be said about any retail product, within reason.  Many don't have a 'green thumb', or space & time to devote to even a small garden.

 

I built my own drones until they started making them better & cheaper.  Retail is always for convenience or if you can't do better or cheaper.

 

Free delivery is a nice touch, as if it takes you so long to get to a 'cheaper' vendor, with added petrol cost, then it could easily balance out to 'why bother'.

Please explain in what way are cannabis buds from Issan different from your cannabis buds from Bangkok?
