Why do you say 'Thailand'......?

At first I though Mr Judd was spicing up this event and article by specifying 'foreign'. But the police performing a training exercise specifically used a foreigner as the trouble maker.

Do they write these headlines on purpose to stop tourists coming to Thailand? Or is it a mistake on purpose to upset all the tourists already here?

Or is it they are actually xenophobic morons?

They don't get a lot right here when it comes to what are deemed foreign scum but this is just icing on the cake.

Initially I thought they were going to Segway the guy down, but they ended poking at him with big sticks. It was nice of the drunken berserka to hang around while they had a conflab about tactics. They had to use a foreigner as for the bad guy because a Thai would have completed his slaughter and gone home to mum long before the meeting reached a consensus.

I would recommend the training is limited to.......  "How to shoot the ******s Dead"...... yet avoid injuring innocent bystanders......job done.

I would think proper training should take place in the barracks, where they can comfortable work under instructor and do it for a whole day, mastering new skills, learning from mistakes.

Doing it in the middle of city is a propaganda exercise, for show, photo opportunity, but not proper training.

Why not use tasers? Sometimes it's difficult to tell reality from a joke in this country ????

Yet again we have more Xenophobia targeting Foreign Tourists.

The very people that Thailand wants and needs to attract for Vacations.

Maybe this is the official way of displaying the law, but where are the heavily armed SWAT Teams that are so proudly lauded at every opportunity.

And these days they just might be getting the number of foreign tourists they deserve. Haven't seen the latest numbers but pretty sure they have lost the Europeans.

Yes.....If I was one of the cops l'd be embarrassed doing this training in public. 

 

Sure, the cops should be trained, this type of training is important and proactive, cops should be trained in capturing aggressive people and they should be taught different techniques, lots of unusual people coming to Thailand, but this external training with foreign actors does bring out all the Thai haters to make comments.

 

If you're a foreigner and a troublemaker be alarmed but if you are a foreigner and a normal person, like all of us (most of us) here on AN you have nothing to worry about. 

 

I really hope that picture gets the international circulation that it deserves. But why not spare the cops the trouble and just call in the animal control professionals to handle the sweating white devils, lol...

 

 

Or maybe it would be safer to insist that all foreigners who look like they might potentially have a drink during their stay, or those with tattoos, should simply be restrained in their hotels for the duration of their stay...
