baboon Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Asking me what? Are you back again? What do you want this time?
baboon Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Was it the fact your name disappeared from the active list?
luckyluke Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Was it the fact your name disappeared from the active list? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Baboon, according to you Ping disappeared from the active list!why is he still on the member list?
baboon Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Great. So now I have two pedants to deal with, do I?
AlexLah Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 This is just getting confusing the more I read and follow this topic. Does anyone here actually know what we are talking about?
luckyluke Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Alex, what would you like to talk about? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ping,if Alex does not answer, can we carry on?
Ping Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I thought expert = 'X is an unknown factor and spurt is a drip under pressure'. No?
AlexLah Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Thank you all for sort of waiting for me, sorry had a bizz dinner so I am home late. My question is/was that I am not clear what we are talking about due to the many counter questions asked. So I would like to know what the purpose of this topic is. In other words: "What would we/he/she like to achieve by bringing up this topic"
Ping Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Alex, what do you suggest that we try to achieve? Should we aim for the record for the thread with the greatest number of totally inane postings? Isn't that something worth achieving?
baboon Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Why not reflect and then post back telling us what you were thinking?
Ping Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 What would you suggest as a suitable period of time for reflection?
chiliwasabi Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Five minutes should be enough. What do you think?
luckyluke Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Five minutes should be enough. What do you think? xxxxxxxxxx Five minutes should be ok for standard people, but for TV members?
Ping Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Five minutes should be enough. What do you think? xxxxxxxxxx Five minutes should be ok for standard people, but for TV members? I have done some serious reflecting. It took many hours. The mirror did not appreciate it. Trouble is, I took so long reflecting, that I forgot what I was reflecting about. Does anyone remember?
AlexLah Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I think I got it!!!! This is about when you are asked a question and know or dunno the answer if it then is a good tactic to answer the question with another question without answering the question directly with a question that answers the question, am I right?
baboon Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Were you not reflecting on the point of this thread?
chiliwasabi Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Why is there a need to reflect about this thread?
Ping Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Upon reflection, was there a need to reflect? Would it serve any useful purpose? Indeed, am I entitled to reflect? Would the Allied Mirrors & Reflective Objects Union not consider this a valid issue of demarcation? (And as I type this, I am wondering does a thread get any more juvenile than this one? Is this the issue I was reflecting upon when I got into strife with the Allied Mirrors & Reflective Objects Union?) Well, at least this thread is Thai-related... isn't it?
